WILSHERE DELIGHTED WITH LONDON DERBY WIN

Jack Wilshere could not hide his excitement after his beloved Arsenal secured a big derby win at the home of London rivals Chelsea. Jack Wilshere came through the Arsenal academy before he was given the chance to stake a claim for first team football by legendary manager Arsene Wenger at the age of 16. He took his chance and became a regular in the Arsenal XI.


Wilshere spent ten years with the Arsenal first team before leaving the club on a free transfer. His exit coincided with the end of the Arsene Wenger era in North London. In the latter part of his years at Arsenal, the midfielder had played for Bournemouth on loan. After his time at Arsenal came to an end, Jack Wilshere played for West Ham United and Bournemouth again before signing for AGF Aarhus in the Danish league this year as he left English football for the first time in his career. In total, Wilshere spent ten years with the Gunners first team. It must also be pointed out that Wilshere trained with Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal players before he sealed a transfer to Aarhus.

Jack Wilshere has been a vocal supporter of Arsenal since leaving the club in 2018. The Englishman had earlier posted on his Instagram Story to hint that he’s looking forward to the recentLondon Derby Premier League clash between hosts Chelsea and his beloved Arsenal with the three-word caption: big one tonight.

The current crop of Arsenal fans made Wilshere and the other fans proud after they secured a 4-2 win at the home of Chelsea in am exciting London Derby affair. Young striker Eddie Nketiah was the star of the show after he scored a brace. After the game, Jack Wilshere also posted ‘massive’ on his Instagram Story as he reacted to the big win.
