WILSHERE TALKS UP POSSIBLE ARSENAL RETURN

While it remains highly unlikely that a deal that will see former Arsenal star Jack Wilshere return to the club will happen anytime soon, the rumors linking the former England international star back to the Emirates Stadium have continued to make the rounds. The former Arsenal man has reportedly continued to be under the radar of the north London club even though there has not been any proof that the Gunners want him back anytime soon.

While playing under former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, Jack Wilshere was a fans’ favorite and started his Arsenal career at a very young age. He was handed his debut by Wenger and he went on to prove that he deserved the chance that he was given after putting in some consistent show of fine performances on the pitch for his former club. However, he could no longer continue at the club after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates.

Wilshere left Arsenal and signed for West Ham United on loan and was immediately handed a starting role at Upton Park. However, his career with the Hammers did not go as he would have hoped as he continued to battle against several niggling injuries and inconsistency. His time at West Ham then came to an end and he was released by the club afterward. While he was a free agent, he was given the chance by Bournemouth to revive his career as the club signed him after he spent some time on trial with them.

After showing that he’s still got the skills, he was offered a professional contract and he started another chapter with the Cherries. But even after signing for Bournemouth, he still hasn’t escaped the possible Arsenal return question. When recently asked if he would fancy a return to the Emirates, Wilshere simply said he is now a Bournemouth player and that’s all that matters.
