Bayern Munich is already ahead of all the clubs in terms of quality

Arturo Vidal reckons Bayern Munich is already ahead of all the clubs in terms of quality, but, if his countryman Alexis Sanchez becomes a part of it, that will make it an even more efficient and powerful team.

Sanchez is presently at Arsenal and he’s been their most fruitful player in the recent seasons. They therefore are trying their best to keep hold of him and have put an extension proposal in front of him, but, the Chile international has not shown any hurry to pen it down yet.

Given Arsenal’s dependence on Sanchez, the chances are slim that they would entertain any bids coming for him this summer, but, if there is no agreement on the new deal, they won’t be able to stop him him from leaving for a long time because he would be out of contract once the 2017-18 season finishes and would then make his way out as a free agent.

Bayern is looking for some strong striking options to ease the pressure off their main striker Robert Lewandowski and because they have heard some great things about Sanchez from his countryman Vidal, they are eager to lure him to Munich. (more…)

Jack Wilshere yet to Make Decision on Arsenal Future, ClaimsAfobe

Jack Wilshere had to move away from Arsenal on a temporary basis in order to prove that he is more than just a highly talented midfielder who can play only a handful of games during the course of a season.

The injury hit midfielder has struggled to even cross 30 appearances in a single campaign. Despite his obvious talent, his injury record is proving to be a major limiting factor towards his stay at Arsenal. This led to the loan move to Bournemouth – his first loan move since the days at Bolton.

One of the major factors behind this move was the presence of manager Eddie Howe, a manager who places a lot of emphasis on Arsene Wenger’s philosophy of beautiful football. The loan move could not have gone any better for Wilshere, as he has been integral to the club’s success in the league this season. Despite being a newly promoted outfit, Bournemouth have not shown any problems with the threat of relegation and they are even aiming for a top-10 finish. (more…)

Wenger reassures fans over Wilshere

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reassured fans over Jack Wilshere fitness.

Indeed the player has sustained an injury during the club tour in the USA and fans were worried that the player would again be missing a big chunk of the season. Jack Wilshere has been an injury-prone player ever since he made his start for Arsenal and fans were hoping that this season would be different.

However, Arsene Wenger has stated that the player’s injury is not a serious one and that he has already started running. The French manager made the statement after the friendly match that saw Arsenal beat Viking by 8-0.

Arsene Wenger said that the player will start to train normally in the days to come and will be available for selection at the start of the season.
This will be good news for Arsenal as the team is currently short on players. Indeed the London club has suffered various injuries to defenders Per Mertesacker as well as Gabriel. And when you know that players such as Mesut Ozil, Laurent Koscielny as well as Olivier Giroud are still on holidays, you can easily imagine how important it will be for Arsene Wenger to have Wilshere back in the team. JACK WILSHERE BACK IN TRAINING FOR COMING SEASON

Jack Wilshere is back in training for the coming season after their disappointing exit from the Euro 2016 tournament in France.

The Arsenal midfielder posted pictures of himself in the gym getting in shape for the next campaign.

The player isn’t letting the disappointment weigh him down and has started the season’s preparation ahead even though he just got back a week ago from international duty. Most of the players that made the Three Lions team were given another three weeks off by their clubs to recover fully after their exit from the continental championship.

The player took to his profile on popular social media app Instagram to share pictures of his work out sessions. The picture showed him doing pull ups on a shower cubicle. He posted on his account alongside the picture: “what’s done is done, all I can do now is prepare for next season the best I can!”

The 24-year old player featured in three games at the tournament though he started just one. Former coach Roy Hodgson was widely criticised for taking the player along to France considering he lacked match sharpness as he had only returned from injury. He made just six appearances all season [totalling 150 minutes for Arsenal] without scoring any goal or providing any attempt. Hodgson overlooked in-form player such as Andros Townsend and Danny Drinkwater.   (more…)

Ian Wright is of the opinion that England manager Roy Hodgson should consider taking Marcus Rashford

Ian Wright is of the opinion that England manager Roy Hodgson should consider taking Manchester United youngster Marcus Rashford to the Euro 2016.

The former Arsenal forward believes that Rashford is capable of challenging for a first-team spot alongside Harry Kane. England certainly have a number of quality forwards – especially in good form – and it has even rendered captain Wayne Rooney’s position in the squad doubtful. Hodgson will be able to call upon players like Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy, and Daniel Sturridge aside from Rooney. Even though he stated before announcing the preliminary squad that Rashford is unlikely to feature at the Euro 2016, Wright says that Hodgson should reconsider his decision.

There has been a lot of attention on Rashford especially since he broke through the United first team in February. Mounting injuries forced the manager Louis van Gaal to look at options in the youth team and Rashford took his chance with both hands after scoring on his debut. He went on to score many more important goals before finishing the campaign with eight goals in 18 appearances across all competitions. However, there are some doubts about the 18-year-old since he scored just one goal in the last six appearances. Many believe that he is still not a finished article and should not be ruined by being included for a major tournament at such an young age.

“Kane has cemented himself as the number one guy in that position. He plays it the best out of the other guys we’ve got. We’ve still got Daniel Sturridge who can come in but the only person I can see who is going to cause Kane some problems in that role up there is young Rashford. At first I was saying we shouldn’t take him because I don’t want to rush him in but I’ve watched him in the last three or four games and I watched him again yesterday (in the FA Cup final),” said Wright.

Alex Iwobihas named Jack Wilshere as his inspiration

Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobihas named Jack Wilshere as his inspiration despite the England midfielder unable to feature regularly for his club and country.

Wilshere was regarded as the biggest England prospect a few years ago. Due to unspecified reasons, the player has been going from one injury to another even before the age of 25. It has limited him to a handful of appearances the last two years. In fact, he is yet to appear for Arsenal for England in the 2015-16 season. However, his talent is apparent for everyone to see and the same seems to have applied forIwobi.

Wilshere is known for his skill move called as the no-touch turn.Iwobi says that many of the youth players in the Arsenal squad have named this skill after Wilshere. The 24-year-old recently claimed that he is once again fit enough to represent the starting line-up. However, it remains to be seen as manager Arsene Wenger will consider picking him for the remaining three matches of the season. Wenger recently called upon England manager Roy Hodgson to take things with Wilshere slowly. Even then, it is expected that the midfielder will once again miss out on a major tournament. (more…)

Motivation

When you’re the manager of a football team, you know how hard it is to properly motivate your players and how difficult it can be to keep the ball rolling. Not only that, but you have to worry about people snatching your good players up, you have to constantly come up with game winning plays and every single one of your players has a personal life that comes into play as well.

This winter, the Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has struggled to prove that he has what it takes. This sent him scrambling back to the drawing board to figure out what went wrong and how he can improve for the next season. However, all doesn’t seem lost as they scored a 2-0 win over Everton and with this win, Wenger believes he has found a formula for success.

It’s not all been Plain Sailing – one of the biggest mistakes Arsenal made this season was not signing a single outfield player. Arsenal has been coming up short in that regard, so this probably shouldn’t be a mistake that’s made again if Wenger wants to retain his successful track record. His original plans have been completely ripped to shreds and Wenger knows that there’s room for improvement. (more…)

Jack Wilshere’s injury has been pushed to February of 2016

Arsenal’s injury curse continues rolling on as many of Arsene Wenger’s key players have been suffering from injury spells including: Danny Welbeck, Santi Cazorla, Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Jack Wilshere, are some of the more notable players of Arsenal who have recently suffered injuries.

Jack Wilshere has not managed to play a single minute of the Premier League for Arsenal in this season due to a broken fibula which he sustained back in September of 2015 and this forced the player to undergo a surgery. When the surgery was over, the medical staff of Arsenal stated that Wilshere would be out of action for 3 months but it has now been revealed that the English player will stay even longer away from the pitch.

When Arsene Wenger was asked about the condition of Wilshere, the French manager replied by saying: “If you ask me if he will be fit before the end of December, no chance’’.

Wilshere is now expected to make a return to the pitch in February of 2016 but this date could be extended even further if the Englishman receives other setbacks. (more…)

It has been more injury headache this season for Jack Wilshere

It has been more injury headache this season for Jack Wilshere, as the midfielder has been able to make only a substitute appearance in the FA Cup so far.

The England international had huge hopes when he broke into the scene, but his injury problems are starting to him of a great career. Wilshere has revealed that he is starting to get his fitness levels back just in time for the Christmas period. Even though he is now capable of playing games, the 23-year-old wants to take it slowly for the first few months. This is likely to be the opinion of manager Arsene Wenger as well.

In the past, Wenger has been critical of the England national team calling up Wilshere when the player could have done with some rest. The 23-year-old suffered a fractured fibula a few months ago. Speaking to the club’s official site, he has admitted the tough time that he has had with injuries in the last 36 months. Arsenal have not struggled in his absence and this could leave him fighting for a first-team spot when he does return eventually. Even then, he has not given up hope of playing at the Euro 2016. Wilshere has been in the sidelines along with players like Danny Welbeck and Tomas Rosicky. (more…)

Steve Bruce has tried to pacify the disgruntled supporters

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has tried to pacify the disgruntled supporters of the club by stating that new signings will come to the KC stadium in the next few weeks.

Following their relegation to the Championship, a mass exodus of players was expected at the club. The club has already received £ 15 million in the last few days following the sale of players like James Chester and Robbie Brady. It is expected that the club will reinvest a significant portion of this sum in improving the squad. Hull City will struggle to attract Premier League players to the club, but they can hope to bring in a few top-level Championship names.

After all, it is promotion to the Premier league that counts at the moment. Since the parachute payments will not be lasting for more than a couple of years, a return to the top division as soon as possible is of paramount importance. Bruce has confirmed that the club are in discussions with two players, who could potentially be signing with Hull City sooner rather than later. However, he does not want to give away any details in order to prevent other clubs from snatching their prize. City’s season starts with a game against Huddersfield Town on August 8. (more…)
